In this course Doctors Sella, Romano and Braun discuss the evolving technologies in IR and the conditions that are being innovated.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify indications and contraindications for fallopian tube recanalization
  • Discuss techniques for the percutaneous recanalization of fallopian tubes 
  • Review images of successful tubal canalization cases
  • Identify the role of provocative mesenteric angiography in the evaluation of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB), including the pre-procedure evaluation and post procedure management
  • Describe the use of anticoagulants, vasodilators, and fibrinolytics during angiography to induce a hemorrhagic state to localize a target for embolization
