Course Description

This presentation will explore MRI and CEDM (Contrast Enhanced Digital Mammography) modalities with review of the images, description of the advantages and disadvantages, as well as radiology and imaging nursing considerations for care of the patient undergoing breast screening.

  • The learner will describe two advantages of MRI and CEDM as screening tools in breast cancer.
  • The learner will give two indications and contraindications of each study.
  • The learner will describe the imaging process for CEDM and MRI.
