Course Description

This module provides an overview of PET-FDG and MRI imaging modalities. There will be discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of PET/MRI as hybrid modality. As well as discussion on the application of PET/MRI imaging of oncology patients.

  • The learner will be able to state two indications for PET/MRI.
  • The learner will be able to list two recommendations for implementing PET/MRI.
  • The learner will be able to describe necessary clinical care workflows for PET/MRI scans.
