Course Description

In this module Beth Hackett discusses the development and implementation of their procedural sedation education plan.  Utilizing survey feedback, our procedural sedation education plan was modified to meet the needs of our nurses and physicians. The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Safe Sedation Training module was used in education development to highlight advanced sedation concepts. The IR staff was surveyed in regular intervals to ensure initiatives were appropriate and addressed continued concerns. These education interventions continue to ensure that IR is able to provide safe and effective sedation for our complex patient population.&nbsp.
