Disseminating nursing knowledge is imperative for the forward mobilization of the nursing profession and poster presentations provide an opportunity for that dissemination. A poster presentation is a visual or pictorial version of one's research or quality improvement work. Unlike oral presentations, a poster must be able to speak for itself, therefore, design and logical flow are essential in developing an effective poster. This workshop will outline the 5 C’s for developing an effective poster presentation, overall timeline for preparation and also provide helpful hints for how to present, network and seek feedback.
